hmm…

well, letssee… what can i talk about….

lets start with friday night… i worked int ehcostume shop for 2 1/2 hours to make up the work call… after that i hauled ass outta there and went to teh gate to see the shows… thank god… they were great…. i’ve really come to love chillin’ like that … however after the shows were over i didn’t stay very long considering that it was 1am and i had a 9am work call.

Saturday i dragged my ass outta bed and went to the shop for a couple hours… at 11:30 i left to go load in The Gay Cabaret… it was fun times inventing a cool lighting set up out of NOTHING!  actually tho we had a ‘followspot’ and some footlihgts and a rainbow cyc.  pretty.

from 3-5 i went back to the shop, where i spend the last 20 minutes of the day ripping out what i had worked on for the past 5 hours because between the two people running the shop, neither of them are great at giving directions…and i thought i understood what they were talking about, but apparentkly not… no rendering to base it off of, no clue how it works, no written instructions… i’m sorry, but i can’t be expected to read your mind.

5-6pm i showered, and semi-primped up for the gay cabaret…

at 6:30 we had a rough q2q transitions thing so at least i got to practice some of the transitions before show time….The Show came, and it was awesome…  I love those boys… i am so incredibly meant to be a fag hag that it’s ridicullous… 😛  anyways, afterwards we threw all teh ‘equipment’ into my car and i went home rechanged and then made my grand entrance to the formal.

The Black Dress, the spiderweb nylons, plain boots, long black gloves, jewels, big hair, good makeup, black hat, and a pink scarf/shawl… Very classy… one step away from looking whory.. but i did make sure that i didn’t comp[letly cross that line.

In a lot of way si am in love with where i stand socially in the department right now.  It’s true that I really dont’ have a group that I belong to… I’m not part of any of the ‘cliques’ or anything like that… rather i tend to mingle from one to another… I’ve got my 1009/gate crew, my tech crew, my dancer crew, my assorted freshman crew…among others…  agostino and I always dance to toxic together, and there are three other guys who I alwasy dance with… its cool that i can come and go with anyone and such as i please, it makes for a fun night of overload!

however, sometimes it can be lonely not to have anyone specifically keeping track of where/who yoru around…. oh well.  

Sunday was broadway for bowser… a benfit concert that i did my solo in… that was with the ‘older musitical theatre’ crew that i also associatte with… it was fun times…

Monday was light hang… kicked some ass with that and was outta there by 10pm… happy days!

things are going well…

also got to interview for a job over the phone yesterday… i hope hope hope i get it. OKLAHOMA baby… (like the state!)
