workin’ my way through.

today i watched football for like 5 hours…

but in the process of watching plays on the field, i was reading plays on teh couch and i think i may have found my directing project… which could be absolutely hilarious if i can get katie cooper to play the role of ‘glynda’… i wont say any more tho… the play also give me some just-out-of-realism freedom with the set/lights and so forth.

… seperate design concept i might try for my dance show… two projectors… use them as follow spots… moving gobos look out… here comes serious lighting effects on a dnacer! let alone the piece where there are three dancers against a wall.. but only one is the real dancer… the other two are projections of her… and then they dance together and eventualyl merge into one real dancer again… very cool… more concepts for my concept file.

so, also today i had a break through in my charity video.. thank god.. cuz i was starting to worry about it… but today like 6 minutes of the show fell into place. if i have another day like that, the production shoudl be mostly wrapped up. thank god.

and i have a dance concept for the dance concert! thank god!  i just have to narrow down and pick a song… even thoug its in in the power – almost cheerish – techno/house music…

name of the pice right now… whch might get tweaked is somethign like “Dance in between teh lines” or maybe just “Lines” or “Dance in Line”

no its not country line-dancing.

but the concept of the lines a dancer can make with themselves… and with an entire group… thats what its gonna be about… simple as that.. but enough of a concept that sean might see some value in the damn thing.
