doing errands is expensive

i went to the library…. spend $5 on used/discontinued books that have to do with theatre or dance… i’m thinking the career guide for theatre people handbook (not the real title) is gong to be a savior!  i’ve also got a book about lighting for film…. even though its from 1979, it still is cool and useful since we dont get training in that area.

afterwards i went to the mall… to deb… i got my new work boots… hoorey! $20! they are deb brand so we’ll see if they can hold up for even a semester… the coolest part about them is that they have a 3 inch chunky heel… i know its not the regular work boot… but its the work boot with chick style… ah yes, and we know thats what i’m all about… techie with style! woot.  i also bough new army green pants with cargo pockets… they will be able to be part of the work wardrobe.  hooray!

then i went to walmart to buy my memory stick for my camera… i looked at the digital cameras that they had there and compared mine with the others… and that made me really really happy.  cuz this its almost a $300 digital camera… not too shabby.  while at walmart i also bought dr. scholls inserts for the boots (cuz they reallly do work miracles!), and then i wandered around the tech dept…. ended up buying a toolbox… should be good times… i figured that it is one thing that i’m lacking… (well, theres a bunch of stuff i wish i had), but alas.  I also got a nifty circuit tester… this one tells me when stuff is wired incorrectly and whats wrong… i’ll be able to track down bad cable a lot faster now. er something… its really just a cheap gadget… and you know how gadgets are needed by techies.

so yeah.  that was my day… i came home and watched the second part of the extended 2 towers… i’ve thought about going to see return of teh king again but its not really a MUST do, but rather something to do.

tomorrow though i’m going to the fireside with the family to see I Do I do…. some musical i’ve never heard of… should be interesting… its also kind of fun that my mom has connectinos through jazzercise and i might get to meet some lady who is probably the SM or something… i dont think i’ll be finding a summer job there tho… their shows run for like 2 months at a time… and lighting wise, the only thing i remember them having that’s “fun” is some scrollers… actually, they were the first place where i got to see what a scroller was! it was for joseph…. how fitting…

so yeah.  i kinda cleaned my room tonight… doesn’t look much better… oh well.
