The Wrong Socks

I was going to post this yesterday but the site was down.

You know when you wake up and you just know something about the day is not right? I had that this morning. I woke up thinking it was Wednesday, and I put on my Wednesday socks. I only realised it was Tuesday when the fat weather woman came on tv. I tried to tell myself it didn’t matter, but in the end I couldn’t be that person and I went back upstairs to change socks. I know, I have issues. Then the train was all overcrowded. And now I am sitting at my desk examining ways to avoid work.

I am all alone this week. The dragon has taken the boy to visit friends in Peterborough. They run a Chinese Takeaway. It’s good for the boy because he is in a Chinese environment.

Apparently a new cyber lavatory from Japan has been has a major vulnerability. The lavatory can be controlled via android smartphone using the My Satis app. Apparently however a hardware flaw means that the lavatory can be controlled by anyone passing using bluetooth. That would include flushing on demand, activating the air drier, or the bidet function. While all of this is hilariously amusing, I can’t really think many people would be bored enough to launch a lavatory cyber attack. What confuses me more, is why the hell anyone would build a lavatory controlled by smartphone. A lavatory is not something that needs remote control. You can just press a button right next to you can’t you?

Rolf Harris has been arrested again for alleged sexual offences. It’s a little too easy to make jokes about his didgeridoo, two little boys, tie me kangaroo down etc. Never would have thought it.
