Quick one because I’m busy

Thursday, and you’ll be pleased to know that yesterday’s production of Little Red Riding Hood, starring the Boy, went off very well. Sadly we were again forbidden from taking pictures by the headmistress and it is now rather mopre difficult for me to make a fuss since the Dragon now works at the school. Icidentally, they’ve given the dragon some more hours, so in fact she’s now working about a 25 hour week. All money in the bank.

I don’t like writing about work herre, but the shit seems to be hitting the fan tis week. Everyone is blaming everyone else. I’m keeping my head down. We have a new chappie in our office. He’s Chinese. I may go and test out my Mandarin at some point.

I’ve taken the day off next Monday. The Dragon has to attend a teacher training day and the boy doesn’t have to go to school. We’re going to do some father and son bonding. I don’t know what form it will take. We could go to the Oasis and play on the water slides.

Today I have discovered that Iranian actress, Golshifteh Farahani, who is based in Paris, has been banned from returning to her homeland after appearing nude in a French magazine as a protest at the way women are treated in Iran. She apparently moved to Paris a year ago for the same reason. The Iranian authorities must have known that such a move would generate negative publicity abroad. One can only assume that they don’t care, which is perhaps more worrying than the move itself.
