Peek-a-boo, I See You!

First of all, HI REBECCA! I know you’ve been leaving those notes. I should have figured it out sooner. Your phone call to Shaun last week sort of gave you away. The fact that as soon as you couldn’t read what I wrote in here, you started coming around again. I wonder why it took you months to complain about why I cut off contact w/you. First you come to my house at 1am asking Shaun if I hate you, then a phone call a bit later. I guess if I would have put more thought into it, I would have figured it out sooner. But now that I’m almost certain it’s you, I care as much about you reading this as I do about you, which is not at all. Ha.
 

I just bought "Blind" by Placebo off of Amazon. Once I really thought about it, I couldn’t help myself.  I’ve been more into really alternative music lately. Not even Alternative rock so much. After having coffee w/Alicia & her family, I went to Mother’s & bought a couple of used albums. The first is Placebo’s Without You I’m Nothing. I’ve already listened to it twice. Love every song on it, though I wish it were longer.

The second album was Silversun Pickups’ Swoon. Also wonderful. Makes me a bit irritated that I just bought "The Royal We" off of Amazon like 2 weeks ago, but whatever. The combination of the female singer’s & male singer’s voices is beautiful. Trippy, but very good. I’ve also been listening to a lot of Death Cab.

Kinda low on stuff to write about I guess. Been working lots & doing everyday stuff.  Tried to go to a movie w/Alicia & co. (lol) today. Stupid cheap theater was closed for an unknown reason. I was a bit irritated about it. However, it sounds like we’ll just go to the late show on Friday after I’m done w/work. Yeah, exciting times, yes?

I found out Filter is coming here. I’m psyched. Tickets don’t go on sale til Friday, so I have no idea how much they are. It’s at a small venue so they shouldn’t be too bad. I wish I knew who was playing w/them but that hasn’t been announced yet. What is up w/that lately? Maybe it’s just around here, but they haven’t really been mentioning the opening band(s) on the bill lately. But anyway, never saw Filter live, so that should be interesting. I need to cut loose at a show.

Alicia swears she found a grey hair on my head today. Oddly, it freaked me out. I’m only 27 for fucks sake. I guess my insomnia & stress are maybe to blame for that. Oh well, fuck it, that’s what they make hair dye for. Really, I think I have sort of browninsh-silverish highlights in my hair so I think that’s what she was seeing. LOL Nevermind, I’m just trying to make myself feel better, I guess.
