A good day
Hey everyone,
Sorry I have been a lousy noter, please don’t give up on me, I will try and catch up soon. It just seems that lately I have been so busy trying to get things done.
The rest of my weekend with my sister and Nic went really well. I went to work on Sat and by the time that I had gotten off, I found out the Nic bought Rock Band and so my sister, husband and Nic were playing that most of the afternoon. When I arrived home, we played for a little bit but then headed to dinner at Flat Top. Afterwards we came back and played more Rock Band. It is a lot of fun, but definately challanging, especially the drums. Sunday we basically played Rock Band some more and then finally headed to lunch at Chili’s. When we returned from lunch my sister and Nic packed up and headed out. I then changed the license plates on both cars. I then did a little scrapbooking. I did a two page layout for my Theta Alumnae chapter. It was a page set that honored a lady whom had been in Theta for 75 years and got a special pin for it.
Monday I had to work both places. Not a whole lot really went on at either place. Yesterday was much of the same ordeal, I didn’t have to work the scrapbooking store because someone needed to switch Wed. for Tues, so I was nice and switched. So when I got done with work I came home went through the fridge and freezer, got rid of old food, went through my coupons and took out the expired ones, cut this weeks coupons, made a grocery list and headed to the store. I was at Meijer for 2 hours getting everything that was on my list and a few other things, and I only spent 75 dollars.
Today I got to go out to a job site and do some measuring and documenting about the ceiling and finishes. I then had to go work at the scrapbook store, where we had a birthday party going on in our crop room, man were the girls loud, but at least it went well. I then came home and ran about a half mile and walked the rest of the mile, I feel good after it, I then did some stretches and now I am getting to relax a little. I am hoping to do the running/walking everyday or at least every other day. I am really needing to get back into shape. I am hoping with loosing at least 20 pounds things will start to getting back to normal with my body. Plus I really want to look good for Miami.
Well, other then that not too much is happening. I plan to do a lot of cooking tomorrow and freezing the food. This way my husband and I will have food on hand and be able to just heat it up when we aren’t feeling like cooking. I am hoping this limits how much we go out to eat and hopefully we eat better this way. I also plan to make some meals for my lunches at work, so that way I am not always eating can soup. Some of the things I plan to make are meatloaf, meatballs, chicken quesedellas, peanut butter and jelly, cashew chicken, almond chicken, sheperds pie and lasagna. I am hoping this will do us for a little while. Well, it is time to get off here and just relax a little before heading to bed. Have a great evening.
