No Time!!
Hey Everyone,
I can’t believe it has been so long since I wrote, but I just seem to never have anytime and when I do, I want to just crash. In the long run nothing too exciting has been going on. I have just been going back and forth to work, going home to workout, eat and clean. I then so some random project that I am currently working in the craft world. I am 3/4 of the way through making my Christmas cards and so hopefully I will finish those soon. I am looking to get a part-time job, just for the extra money, it would be nice to have over the holidays. I am either going to look into the scrapbook store near my house or at the YMCA.
This past weekend we headed to Indiana to go to the Covered Bridge Festival in Rockville. We hit the three major places to get lots of food, look at lots of arts and craft items, lot of junk, and antiques. My hubby and I didn’t find too much to buy other than food. I ended up with a few scrapbooking items. A stamp set of letters and a 4 color ink pad for 5 dollars, two packs of eyelets for 2 dollars each, and scrapbook tool set from memories for 12 dollars (eyelet setter, hammer, tweezers, round tip pliers, paper stiching needles, hole punchers) so all in all I think I did pretty good. I am hoping to learn a few new techinques with this new set. Mostly the weekend was getting to spend time with family. I got to see my grandparents one more time before they head south for the winter. And I got to see some other family that I haven’t seen since the Bridge Festival last year. We played a game of Phase Ten on Sat. night and my mother and grandfather joined my sister, nic, joe and I, it was such a blast. My grandfather had never played before and my husband kept skipping him. It was a great time of laughs.
This week is going to be hectic. I have to work out and clean more to the apartment since my mother and grandmother are coming in on Thursday and staying till Friday because my mother has a doctor’s appointment in downtown Chicago. I am glad that I will get to show off our place again, but I hate the cleaning prior to it.
I am also excited, my new boss was looking to get rid of a ladies 10 speed bike and I asked him if he had found anyone to take it yet and he was like no. So I am now getting a new bike, well new to me. Mine was wrecked a while ago in Muncie. Someone had hit my husband while he was on the bike, nothing luckily happened to my husband but the bike was ruined. I will just be glad to ride again, it is still cardio, but less impact on my knees and chest.
Well, I think that is all for now. I am sure there is plenty more to talk about but I am at work and it time to get to work. Hope all is well, and I hope to catch up on notes, but if I don’t please don’t take it personal, I know I have a lot to do. Have a wonderful day!
