Short and Sweet!

Hey everyone,

     Hope you had a good Monday! Mine was great till the end of the night, but all well. After work I headed to the bank and then home to grab a quick dinner before heading out to do a bit of light shopping. My husband had mad us taco’s, mmmm….   After dinner we headed out to Hobby Lobby to look at fabric and stuff for me to make Christmas Cards. We didn’t find any fabric we wanted there, however I think I have the paper I need to make the cards, it was nice it was 50% off!! After Hobby Lobby we headed to Jo-Ann Fabrics in search of the fabric we needed. I am making my husbands Renaissance fair costume, he is being very trustful with this. I have only ever made pillow cases, a pair of pants, blankets and table clothes, we will see how this shirt making goes. We found the silver fabric for the shirt, pants and hood that will resemble armor that we needed and got the interfacing to go with, we used a 40% off coupon on the silver fabric because it would have been 26 dollars, so after coupon we only spent 18 dollars for that fabric. I will attempt to sew this in the next week or so. After Jo-Ann we headed to Target. We finally found a microwave we like at a decent price, now we just have to get a cart to put it on so we can have our counter space back. After Target we headed to Meijer to see if we could find a cart and camping chairs. No such luck in either department, so we just headed home. My hubby and I got into a small arguement, which was more him just getting mad at the fact that I am planning this upcoming weekend with friends and I know nothing about what is going on and it is only a few days away. He acts like it is my fault no one gets back to me or that they too need time to make a few decisions, whatever. He threw my keys on the ground after I did and broke my whistle, which really made me sad because I have had that whistle for years. Well I decided that I would try and fix the whistle, because it was only in two parts, with super glue. Well, it wasn’t coming out so I pushed a little harder and well, it finally came out, all over my fingers. My index, middle and thumb were completely covered in super glue. I hurried to the bathroom to get it all off, it took a while, though I have fixed my whistle, at least temporarily, and I only had a few blisters from where the glue was. After that I took a shower and headed to bed, I didn’t want to drag the not so great night out any longer then it needed to be.  Today I got up to come to work and traffic was great, I got to work so early. I then looked over a few things, got some directions for a place I need to run to right after work to drop off our old cable box, and looked up a few sewing terms so that I could brush up on them before I start this new project. I thankfully get out of work at noon today so I am really excited about that. Well, time to get to work. Hope you all have a great day!!!
