Updates for today

Hey Everyone,

       Just wanted to pop in a little and say what is going on. I promise I will have some pics here soon for you from our memorial day weekend, I just have to upload them yet. Things are going smoothly on the settling in part. We have most things unpack, now it is just finding their homes. Our cable, phone and internet was set up on Tues. and my husband has been slowly putting pictures and items up on the walls. It is slowly becoming home. I am loving the place and I am sure I will love it more when I have time to enjoy it and being pushed to get things unpacked. We headed out to Baskins N Robins last night and when we return some of our neighbors were on their porch and said hello. It was a nice feeling, in our last building people weren’t so friendly, everyone pretty much stayed to themselves in their apartments and you might see someone in an elevator. Tonight I might finally hit up the pool, we are to get a small heat wave so it would be a great time to get to swimming again.

For those that pray, could you please say a small prayer for my husband, he is going for a job interview tomorrow, and I know it kills him that he isn’t contributing to the finances and so this is step one. It is at a local American- Mexican resturant, he knew he would get an interview there because he has so much experiance in the American-Mexican style resturants, but now it is getting the job. He isn’t find of that type of resturant, but it is a start and a way to make some money. He will still look for other jobs at the same time.
