Day-Off
By the time I got home last night from Waiting For Godot, it was10:30. I was screwed; I had homework due the next day that of course, I hadn’t done. I worried and fretted so much, that I woke with a bad stomach ache. If I moved, I was sure I’d throw up. So, I got to stay home for the day, solving the dilemma that gave me the stomach ache in the first place.
I slept in a bit then texted Morgan (who was supportive and awesome as ever). I did no work whatsoever. I polished off a book and a half (Shug and then Ingo) before I got tired of reading. I had some dry toast around 11 then some chicken noodle soup and crackers about 1. Basically, the whole day was sort of ho-hum. You know what that’s like. You lie around, read, listen to music, text, all the while in your pjs, wishing the hours away.
Now, the family’s all home. James keeps running back and forth from his room to this room to show me pictures on his iPod that I really couldn’t care less about (honestly, how many different ways can a cat ‘haz cheezbrgr’???) Dad should be ordering pizza any minute now and mom’s probably still watching her Harrison Ford movie that she’s been watching for the past hour or so. As for me, I was bored enough to update this blog.
Tomorrow is the last soccer game of the season. How depressing. I’m going to miss it. Kick-off is at 9:30 AM which means one thing and one thing only: We’re going to freeze to death.
