Two/Twenty-Four

I forgot to write yesterday, so I just decided to do this entry today.

Not too much has happened. I’ve found a voice/piano teacher and is loving every lesson. I’m learning how to play piano much better and I must say that the dry weather here is a vocal challenge. To retain a nice tone, I must be to water as an alcoholic is to liquor.

My Spanish class is growing increasingly more difficult. I have, however, found a very rewarding solution. Someone from Church informed us of a woman who’s daughter is fluent in English and Spanish. Awkwardly to me, this daughter (Paula) is 13 years old, James’ age! Despite our age difference, we managed to work well together and became immeadiate friends.

Speaking of friends, Mj, Stan, James, and I are making a movie using my camcorder. This one is going to be about two boys who discover a briefcase. When they open it, they are sucked inside into a completely different universe. No one is the designated writer and no one is the designated filmer; we all work together.

My 16th birthday was pretty cool. Mom took James and I to the DFO (Direct Factory Outlet) for shoppng. I got an awesome Converse hoodie, a maxi dress, and a… oh, great, I can’t remember the last item. Mom made us all chocolate chip cake. It was delicious!

I’m really bonding well with the Belmore Road youth. They seem to like me alright and treat me like an old friend. The women at the Church call me mature for my age and very sweet. Many of them have suggested that I try for American Idol.

Wow… I guess a lot more has happened than what I originally thought!

Two months down; Twenty-two to go.
