that storm we had yesterday we bad. i see the mountains from here and all the trees are coated in ice. i lost power here for about 3 hours. matt and i sat in candle light and played some poker after he got home from work. was a very uneventful evening. highland lakes up in vernon has been shut down all day as most of the roads up there were blocked so vernon closed their schools. i’m off to start my weekend at the diner. so totally need this money. we are screwed otherwise and cant pay rent. i gotta make sure i work all shifts. i’m supposed to go to my sisters at some point and bake some christmas cookies with her. i had been asked to bring some supplies. i’m really going to be stretching the budget now. joy oh joy.
