Dammit

How annoying! I’ve misplaced the story temporarily–the one I was going to start transcribing. It’s in my apartment somewhere, but since I spend most of my time not there, and have forgotten to track down the notebook(s) where the story is, I do not have it at my disposal. I’ve not been in a writing mood for a very long time, but I think I need to get back to it, even if it’s only for a little bit. I’ve been reading some excellent books of late and thinking to myself, "I need to write another book that *I* want to read", which is how "Angels Among Us" came into being. And indeed, how Torin’s stories came about. It’s been some time, but this worked in the past: does anyone have a good opening line that I can run with? 

If you do, leave it in a note, and I’ll see how inspired I get.
