Today is "international women’s day", celebrated for 101 years now. I don’t feel much like celebrating what great strides women have made. I wish women and girls around the world had the same human rights as men EVERY day. Women heading companies etc. seem to be very 1st world victories. In some places in the world young women living in refugee camps are afraid to go and pee because they might be attacked or raped there:(
I do think there is much to celebrate but much needs to improve too.
I don’t write much about knitting here at the moment it seems but I am knitting and it is still keeping me sane. I have been knitting boring blanket squares but they are easy to complete. I still home to knit some socks this year, can’t believe how time is flying by. My favorite is still knitting hats though and neck warmers of different types:)
