it’s all about love
I love my husband of almost 25 years a lot but I have never been IN LOVE, that kind of giddy, hurts etc. kind of love with another adult. But my kids, oh dear goddess, even after 25 years I love them sooo much, hurts beyond belief with every fibre of my being until there is nothing left. Even now that they are adults, my love for them can brighten the day and take my breath away. Probably a good thing I am not likely to have any grandkids soon, not sure I could stand the love and worry they would surely erupt from that same wellspring of love.
I am a pacifist and I truly believe that love, and compassion, make the world go round. Love will win out over fear and hatred and ignorance if we just give it a chance.
There was a young man on my bus today, looked like a typical college student, young, very tall, lanky and rawboned. But, he was carrying a skein of yarn, just in his hand, no bag nothing:)
