the end of summer already
Today is september 1st and exactly 4 weeks until my birthday. I haven’t written here in ages.
The summer has flown by at a faster than light speed it seems. Some of it was good and some of it wasn’t of course, and not enough of the weather was summery but it’s over and done.
Son #4 starts back to school tomorrow and Miss T. and I embark upon another year of homeschooling.
We did get out to Wolfville finally, went to farmer’s market after having had a chance to have breakfast with a dear old friend who I just don’t see nearly often enough.
Miss T. learned to knit, just picked mine up one day as if it was nothing after years of not being to figure it out at all:)
I knit a gorgeous orange hurricane hat in cascade pastaza yarn which I found on a curbside. Here is the hat pattern:

I am currently knitting a hat for my daughter’s 18" doll, the neverending pink baby blanket. I just finished another button up short scarf, it just needs to have the buttons sewed on and the ends worked in.
Well, that’s a short update, more another time.
Good to see you here. Thanks for the good wishes. We’ve been very good at keeping communication open and he seems to be a pretty good guy. I like him. With a smile…

RYN: Actually, A’s life is more complicated than mine. Mine is fairly straightforward. With a grin…
