summer?

The weather has been mostly on the cool side and lots of rain:(  I miss the sun.

A very dear old friend welcomed another grandchild into her family recently.  Looking at the pictures of her kids and grandkids makes me get all teary eyed.  I remember when she was pregnant with her older daughter and I absolutely remember when her son’s dad called me to say it was a boy so many years ago and now that boy is a dad himself. 

I wanted to make something for this new baby but didn’t.  I have a beautiful play quilt  a friend made, I may pass that on for this new grandson but then I need to find something else for the 6 month old grandson, hmmmm, will have to think about what we can pass on from here.

Knitting?  Yes I am knitting and looking forward to tomorrow which is WWKIP (world wide knit in public day)

I still have buttons to sew onto one scarf so that I can donate it tomorrow.  I weeded out a pile of yarn to contribute to the yarn swap too:)
