happy new year 2009

Happy New Year Open Diary,

Thank you for being a place where I can write almost completely anonymously.  Thank you for being the first place I wrote online and my apologies for being such an infrequent visitor and writer here.

I taught myself a new stitch as 2008 ebbs away, brioche rib stitch.  Nevermind that I can’t fix mistakes in that stitch and am starting the neck warmer over for the third time this week.  I also got interested in neck warmers, a new item and project for me so that means I am feeling just slightly less awful than I have for most of the last month. 

It is snowing heavily outside and thank you not at all to the powers that be that torture peri menopausal women, enough said or it would be TMI.

And a very happy new year filled with health and happiness and prosperity to one and all.
