knitting and tea and travel

I just spent a week in DC with my daughter taking care of my 10 month old niece while her daycare provider was on vacation.  My brother and SIL are moving this week and my visit meant they could both take off the time they need this week to move.  My daughter had never met her baby cousin and was thrilled to spend time with her as well as go on a trip and have adventures.

After some concern I just took my aluminum circular knitting needles on the plane with me and it wasn’t a problem any of the 4 times I went through security coming and going.

I found some lovely tea to drink while I was in DC.  I have discovered that while I really enjoy ceylon tea, a good blend of ceylon and assam is absolutely delightful:)
