I haven’t lost my touch:)

So today is my oldest son’s 21st birthday.  Although he is living 2000 miles away I was still able to embarrass him in  public by calling him and loudly singing happy birthday to him over his cell phone while he was eating lunch in a restaurant.  Yes, I still have that mother’s  touch, the ability to embarrass one’s offspring even from a great distance:):)

The hat I am knitting is going very well.  I found some more yarn to reuse at Value Village and I have started a bright red dish cloth that will be one of several donated to the Ronald McDonald House at the IWK (local children’s hospital).

The weather actually warmed up at one point today and I could almost feel spring in the air and then it got cold again and a few snowflakes sparkled in the streetlights.
