the ty pennington style sale at sears ends TOMORROW…

…just when you didn’t think it was possible…sears is…kinda COOL?! O_o ::kisses sears:: sears is good people. i’ll support sears.

(…or their home and hardware sections, at least.)

on “wedding edition” (which made me want to kick myself in the face…) the two annoying decorators were laying on the bed in sears and the guy asked the girl “…what do you think…should we get the stripes or the plaid…?” and she said “…i don’t know…” ::pause:: “what do YOU think?” and ALL AT ONCE the camera panned over to the HUGE POSTER OF TY PENNINGTON NEXT TO THE DISPLAY!

i think i actually audibly squealed…it was just ridiculous!

and okay. it’s not because he’s some uber hot foxy stud or anything…i think the guy may be older than my dad…it’s just that his camera energy blows my mind, and he seems to be so fiercely in love with what he does.

…and what he does is…likewoah. one of my newest favourite things EVER…helping people in ridiculous and extravagantly personalized ways by building stuff and breaking stuff and getting dirty and running around with a MEGAPHONE?!

…but eh. it may just be that that’s the nature of the mediabeast. mebbe he’s really a huge jerk in real life and he has a ginormous IV drip of just straight caffeine that he carries around when the camera is off…

::shrug:: sometimes it’s nice to think the best of people is possible, though. i prefer to give him the benefit of the doubt.

ty pennington? you’re the spokesperson for one of the last two shows that keep me from blowing up my television and spitting disdainfully on media all together…i hope you aren’t awful.

…now. if only i can get someone around her to start TAPING EM:HE for me ’causeafore i’m never HOME on sundays…(wouldn’t it be nice to actually WATCH your favourite show…? gee…)
