Moved
Em and I took Marshall out sledding yesterday. It was so incredibly cute. Who knew carseats could double as sleds? I mean… it’s got a built in, adjustable rollcage, 5 point harness, and great balance… seriously, it’s like my son was in Nascar. We got a ton of really cute pics and some videos of him. Man, I love being a dad.
Amy, Emily’s sister moved out today. She’s headed back down to West Plains to stay with the family. It was nice to be able to offer her a place to stay while both of her sister’s were pregnant and her hubbie is in Iraq, but after a while, the place just got WAY too small and way too cramped. It was time for a change. Emily and I had barely gotten a chance to live alone after getting married, so now it feels awesome. I can walk around in my undies with no worries!!! YES!!!
I think we’re ready to move on to a family ward here in Columbia. The late start time and the prospect of church being held at the Institlute building is hard on us. I think we’re up for a change of scenery anyways. Em and I don’t feel liike we can effectively contribute to the callings we have right now, and we’re hoping for something a bit more beneficial in the new ward. This Sunday we’ll head over to see what the Highlands ward is like and make a decision from there.
I’m so excited that we’ve gotten Marshall’s baby room up and running. It’s so nice to get things moved out of our room. I’ve spent pretty much all day rearranging furniture and moving stuff in the apartment. It’s gonna be sweet when Em and I get our own house. For now, that’s going to have to wait until I’m done with school and done with OCS with the Army. Hooah!
I’m off… I need sleep. Loves.
It’s incredibly easy to see how much you love being a dad. 🙂

Re: Linear is GREAT! 🙂 I have hangings that I haven’t put up yet because I haven’t gotten everything else the way I want it. And it doesn’t only have to be straight on the wall… it needs to line up with what’s below it, too. I don’t have children of my own, but I do have nearly 30 nieces and nephews. Kids are fantastic, and they teach us a lot in the process of their own learnings. Isn’t that miraculous?
