Plush

I wish I could have been writing more often in here… but alas, between being out of town, not having internet, and moving, it’s been a bit difficult to regularly update. 

Like I said, I’ve been out of town a lot.  My research job has taken me all around Missouri.  We’ve been spending a lot of nights camping out on the ground in the woods.  We actually had a close encounter with a mountain lion at one point while we were in southern Missouri.  Well… if you call about 100 meters away a close call…. =0P  Either way, it was pretty cool.  I’ve gotten to see my family a couple times as well.  That has definitely been a huge plus.  I know in the past going back home has been a extremely depressing, but things as of late are so much better. 

I’ve officially moved into my new apartment and Laura is now moved in as well.  I’m really excited about it as well.  So far I’m really happy with the new apartment except for the incredibly noisy dishwasher… it sound like someone threw Pikachu in there whenever it runs.  I got some posters and framed them myself so that we can actually have something on the walls, and I’ve also gotten some furniture compliments of my old neighbors.  They finally moved and they dropped off a few items on their way through Columbia… I was really greatful… it’s pretty nice furniture.  Brett and I fixed up a tv for the living room, so it’ll be a pretty nice setup.  It’s so nice having someone you know living with you.  I knew my old roommates, but just not in the friendly way… more so acquaintence-like.  Laura’s gone at some crazy camp the Vet school is putting on for the new grad students.  I think it’s pretty funny myself… and she’s not exactly excited about it herself. 

Anywho… I guess that’s it for now.  Things havent really been all that exciting lately…. Just working and moving.  Anyways, hopefully I’ll be able to get back here to write more consistently now that I’ve got internet up and running.
