Catan

I went to play tennis today with Jackie at 7pm.  We only lasted about 25-30 minutes.  Yeah, it was 102 degrees outside and we definitely felt the effects.   Oh well, we’ll probably play later this weekend at a later time.  I made spaghetti this afternoon for me and Jackie and we watched "House of Flying Daggers".  It had too many plot twists for my taste, but the cinematography, especially at the end, was beautiful.  It also had a really great soundtrack. 

The rest of my day wasn’t all that exciting.  I’m glad I didn’t work today, though.  I would have died in the heat.  I did get to meet Allison’s twin sister tonight, though.  She’s really sweet.  Her boyfriend is pretty cool too.  By the time I"d called, they’d already started playing a game, so I came over and watched and just socilaized till they were done.  It gave me something to do.  It was either that or clean the apartment, and I’m going to save the cleaning for tomorrow.  I’m actually supposed to go to the airport with Allison and her friends so I can drop them off and then take the car back with me.  Then I’m supposed to pick them up when they get back.  Allison is pretty much just giving me her car for the weekend.  I really can’t think of what I’ll use it for, but I’ll just have to see.  Oh yeah… I can go practice tennis now!  Sweet. 

Blah… I’m really tired, but I don’t feel like going to bed.  Beth and I had a really nice conversation the other day.  Things look a lot better right now.  I’m just happy to have my best friend back in my life.  Now I depart for bed.
