Error

I gotta say… Charlie and the Chocolate Factory definitely exceeded my expectations.  Jackie and I went to see it tonight… kind of a last minute decision type of thing.  We had a lot of fun talking about movies and headed to Steak’n’Shake afterwards.  We were there talking and having a good time for almost 2 hours.  We tipped the server nicely, though =0)  i know how annoying it can be when someone stays in your section so long.  I felt kind of bad, though, cause she looked really nice and I was looking like a slob, even though she would beg to differ.  Oh well! 

I walked to the practice rooms today with my trombone… and quite a long walk that was… but when I arrived I discovered that the practice rooms were CLOSED.  Yeah, I made that incredibly annoying journey for nothing!  So, I went to Excellence Hall to see if I could use theirs, but apparently it was closed too.  I called Allison and asked if she’d mind my practicing over there.  She said it’d be fine, came and picked me up, and off to practice I went.  I have to say, I’m surprised I remember as much as I do.  My chops, however, die after about 20 minutes of playing, which is definitely a problem.  I shall get this fixed quickly, though.  I already have my audition piece selected and I’m excited to get into marching band again. 

Anyways, things are going well lately. I have some mystery withdrawals from my bank account, though.  I’m going to call Monday and find out what is going on.  I’m donating plasma on a much more regular basis, also.  I think I’ve decided against the private guitar lessons as well since band will be taking up so much time and I think I’m too short on finances for it in the first place.  Ah well… there’s always another day. 

Allison and I met with the missionaries again on Friday.  It was another really enjoyable discussion, but I’m just not sure about it yet.  I thought about going to church on Sunday, but I think still need some more time to study and pray about things.  I think I want to go to church with Allison before I do anything else.  I’d like to see how that goes.  Oh yeah, and that reminds me… apparently I’m supposed to marry her.  Yeah, and we’ll have the fastest drum corps children in the world…  just don’t ask. =0P
