Sunday

I am sitting here watching some Sunday afternoon football.  So far both of the games I am inter-rested in are going well.  Dallas needs to win, and the Chiefs need to win as well.  I got up early this morning, and needed to pee.  So I stayed up, and played some yatzee on my computer, and waited for the time to go to the Sunday morning AA meeting on the beach that I like oh so much.  There was a person that got a chip for 30 days, 6 months, 13 years, and then 31 years..!  I am again working on not drinking.  The person that got the 30 day chip today, I saw her back on the 9th of November.  The day that she was needing to move, and I had duty that day.  I went to duty muster, but told the section leader I was going to the meeting.  After the meeting, I of course went back to duty.  But today when I saw her, she looked so different.  Guess the 30 days dry this time, and working the program like she is, is working for her.  I have 11 days dry…again.  I did the treatment progran the military has here in San Diego, and I did okay with that.  I got 34 days dry, then I made that decision to buy a bottel of rum, and then drink it.  That led to a couple more bottels, and fighting with the wife.  Drank on duty…but did not get caught, again.  Drank while I was driving, and did not get caught, again…  Then I was coming home on the 26th of November, and this car in front of me stopped suddenly, and I tapped the rear of his car, with my truck.  The guy got out of his car, and was all freaked out.  I kept pointing to him to pull over to the side of the street, and he did, then I got out of my truck.  I asked him for his insurance and stuff…I had mine all ready.  Then he said he was going to call the cops…so I told him go ahead.  I had the phone going, I called my wife so she could listen in.  Of course that was the wrong thing to do, since she was all over my ass for how I was acting to him.  I have I believe the best insurance company working for me though.  USAA is the best, and I am not worried about this.  The police officer that showed up, he looked at me, got my information, gave me a yellow card and told me he was done with me.  Then he really turned on the guy that I pumped, since he did not have something that is suppose to be in the car.  I think it was proof of insurance, or valid insurace.  I was not really paying a lot of attention once the police officer showed up.  I was just drinking my coffee, and standing by my truck, trying to keep calm.  Just need to wait and see, since the guy is now claiming that he was hurt.  if he was hurt, then he should have had a "bus" come get him where the car was sitting.  It is up to the insurance company now.  I take my truck in to get it looked at tomorrow, so the "damage" can be filed on my truck.  I did see a little dent on the right fender.

I do know, that I am done with the rum…that makes me a not very nice guy.  I was already angery when I started drinking, and the more I drank, the meaner I got.  I know I have a problem when it comes to drinking…and I am working on getting things figured out.  It is one day at a time…even if I do not work a program.  It is still one day at a time..!
