There isn’t much like taking a nap, and then sleeping far longer than you thought you would. Now I am sitting here watching TV, and hoping I can get sleepy sometime…it’s 0300 now. I had things I was going to write about…now I am kind of at loss for words now. I had this idea that I was going to sit here and write my christmas list, but it’s like what does it matter…? I’m not going to get anything…unless I go get it myself. Never the less, the one thing I would like to have is a pair of cowboy boots. I have no idea where one of the boots is to the pair I had…it’s gone too. I got a vaccum cleaner, so there goes asking for that. I would like to have a new cover for my stearing wheel in my car. The one that is on the wheel now is old, and needs to be replaced. I need some glasses for my apartment…I got my table wear, and some plates. The plates and stuff were in storage…about the only thing in storage worth anything at all. Ah lets see…there was a couple other things that I was thinking about too, but I can’t remember right now. Not that is matters…it’s just stuff. I have enough as it is…no reason to get more stuff.
I did get my car up on a lift and got my right front axle taken care of. It only took me a couple hours, and well I did better than I thought I would at getting it all done. I have some more projects in line for that car now…but that’s what you get when you buy someone eles’ junk. I really don’t mind though…it will keep me busy when I have the time to get to the auto shop and work on my car. I did take a look at the left side axle while the car was on the lift. It’s okay for now…but maybe sometime down the road I can get it replaced too. Guess I will need to get some time and take my car on a road trip to see how it’s working. Here in town it was doing just fine…but that trip back from my sisters was inter-resting. And well I really don’t want to deal with driving like I was for a couple hours, fighting the car as it shakes, and then stops. That wasn’t a fun return trip at all…! One thing I do need todo is get my oil changed. That is a simple task to do though. I will just have to get what I need, and get up to the auto shop again, and get it done. Something else I should do is take a look at the plugs and I might even need to change my wires…not sure on that one right now though. See…all kinds of fun for me and that car…!
