An Excerpt from past denials.

I remember what you wore on the first day; you came into my life and i thought hey
You know, this could be something.
Because everything you do and words you say; you know it all takes my breath away.

So maybe it’s true that i can’t live without you; but theres so much time to figure out the rest of my life.
And you’ve already got me coming undone.

I remember every look upon your face; the way you roll your eyes, the way you taste.
You make it hard for breathing.
Because when i close my eyes and drift away; i think of you and everything’s okay.
I’m finally now believing.

I set out on a narrow way, many years ago
Hoping I would find true love along the broken road
But I got lost a time or two
Wiped my brow and kept pushing through
I couldn’t see how every sign pointed straight to you

Every long lost dream led me to where you are
Others who broke my heart, they were like northern stars
Pointing me on my way to you

That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you

I think about the years I spent, just passing through
I’d like to have the time I lost, and give it back to you
