This week’s work anecdote:
There was this announcement that came over the intercom from customer service: “If anyone has seen a Kermit the Frog, please bring him to customer service… Kermit the frog to customer service…” The old man in line asks me “Hermit the frog?” “Kermit,” I reply. “Ohhh…Kermit…” she chuckles to himself. He has asked for paper bags and I put his roast chicken in a plastic bag. “Where’s the chicken?” “In the bag.” He is still hung up on the Kermit thing. He points to the plastic chicken bag “I think something is moving in there! It must be kermit the frog!” I can’t stop laughing. The high point of my day…for SURE. shizzle? But it’s funny!! You had to be there… I swear, it was great.
I hate this remodeling crap. It’s no fun… customer’s are soooo angry and frustrated and they all take it out on me. It’s not my fault, damnit! I think it’s not so much that the place I work is weird… it’s more that the people who come in there tend to be a lot crazier than those who come into, say… a movie theater. And I spend more time with them. My coworkers are also twisted, but that’s another story.
I am soooo excited about our graduation rehearsal!! Seriously… it’s sick. I don’t know why, but I’m just really excited about it. I’m not even that excited about the actually graduation… but the PRACTICE…oh man… I can’t wait. I’m really not being sarcastic either.
I don’t want your stinkin’ medal. If there’s three medals, nobody’s going to notice…huh, she must just be a royal blue.honor society..schtuff. Yah, uh huh overlook what I worked so hard for… Don’t even tell the crowd “these are the valedictorians” We’re nothing. There’s 13 of us. We don’t matter. None of us deserve it. BITE ME.
I don’t want your stinkin’ tassle. I want my school colors.
Melissa’s sister’s dad is here. He’s talking about making my physics teacher pee.
I can’t wait to see Jeremy/Leah! Whoooooooooooooooooooooo. I really want him to come with me to WF on Tuesday so he can meet Lindsay… but I think he’s going to be in Abq. BAH! Maybe he can come on Thursday.
Wow! How do you have so many valedictorians???? Do you go by GPA instead of cumulative grade (in other words, 4.0 instead of, say, 96.5?) – Taffy (nsi)
