Proud moment

In general I am always pretty proud of my girls but earlier this week, one of them did something which I thought was extra special. H, my older daughter has always had very long hair. Various times we’ve asked if she want to get it cut shorter like her younger sister. Her response has always been no even though she hated brushing it before school. Recently she started talking about finally getting it cut and donating whatever got cut off. Well this week she got L to take her for just that. They went to Locks of Love and H had about 10 inches cut off. She loves her new hair and more so loves that she could do something like that. No one will ever doubt that both my girls have big hearts.
