Let the vacation begin…

At 4am, the alarm went off today. In moments the whole house was up and everyone gathering last minute things for the trip to Florida. Well everyone except me. I got up and carried the luggage downstairs and talked with everyone. The girls were excited. Not long after, L’s friend who is going to help with the driving arrived and a short time after, they were off.

I ended up staying away for a bit before taking a nap. I had hoped to get working right away but so far today, I have been lazy. Time to start writing though. I have a paper to work on and I finally have some time in peace to do so. I suspect I am going to enjoy having the house all to myself almost as much as the rest will in the land of sun.
