Back to student mode

I don’t think I realized just how burnt out I was from the fall seemster until this week. Motivation has been an issue, especially for the class I am now taking. For the past few weeks, I’ve been meaning to catch up on the reading but it never happened. Last friday, we had a project due and that was after a slight extension because of the snow days. Last sunday I started on it and blew throug the easy stuff by monday night. Then it seemed like all I could do was one problem a night and that was after much frustration. My stufent intern is also in the class and knows this stuff from from a previous class she took. She provided some hints that helped me work through the syntax. Got everything done thursday night then rewrote one the next day while sitting in a dept. meeting. Wireless is a wonderful thing 🙂

So finally I am in student mode which is a good thing since the midterm is less that two weeks away. I’ve begun to get caught up in the reading which would ahve helped me underdtand a few things before figuring them out the hard way by doing the project. With luck, I can be completely caught up in a few days then will take a couple off of work before he exam to study.
