Going to the big dance

No, not me! But our Colts beat our nemesis, the Patriots, to go to the Super Bowl. To say that this city is bleeding blue right now would be an understatement. The fates conspired to provide us a chance to host the AFC title game and it didn’t disappoint. It was a time when it was wonderful having season tickets and because of this, playoff ones. I will not go into the details but what a rollercoaster ride, complete with a starting long, slow build up followed by a major drop. Somehow we survived and with enduring constant ups and downs the rest of the way. Even with 1 minute to go, the outcome was in doubt. However, a break for us and it was over. I ahve only experienced a celebration that errupted in the stands once before. it was incredible.

Several days have passed since then, the lull before the next storm if you will. Feb 4th is going to be another interesting ride!

I am soooooooooo happy for the Colts! Living in Tampa Bay, I am a Tony Dungy fan, who also happens to be from my home town. There are many of us here in Tampa rooting for you guys, cus we never wanted to see Tony go in the first place. GO COLTS!! Yay! 🙂

Hey, ya!! I was hoping the Colts would beat the Pats. It was a different sort of party around here when the Saints lost. We were really hoping they’d make it. They didn’t even have to win, just make it to the Super Bowl! How have you been?
