Walk down memory lane

Not sure what prompted me to do it but I went back to the beginning of the notes left here. Each time I’d see a name from the past, I’d click on it in hopes he/she still maintained an OD. As I expected, almost all had disappeared over time. Such fun rereading some of those left by those whose lives I had followed. One was a major RedSox fan – I’d love to hear his thoughts about banishing the Bambino. A few have changed names over time. A couple dealt with the rollercoaster ride called dating only to be married now. Others have added children into the mix (me included). It’s amazing how much time has passed and yet how recent it all still seems.

Thanks friends for being there and sharing your lives with the rest of us. A special thanks to DS and Kiri who seemed to be with me since the beginning. May you all have a wonderful 2006.

🙂 Happy New Year to you, too! I’ve enjoyed reading you all this time (even when the entries have been few and far between…hmmmmm??? 😀

I went back and read a few of my early entries and can’t believe where the time has gone and how things have changed. I’ve enjoyed your entries and hope to see them more often in 2006! Have a great New Year with your family. *hugs*

RYN~ I loved it pretty much the whole way through (although the alien shows were a little out there.) Of course I thought one of the best things about it was Ortiz! 😀 I didn’t know until I looked up some info on the show that the guy that played Lucas (the 16 year old kid) killed himself a couple of years ago.

I’ve done that before… Most of mine way back from the beginning were gone too! But I’m still here! *S*

RYN ~ I love being scared. When I was a kid we would watch spooky movies (Watcher in the Woods, etc) and in the middle of them Daddy would sneak around and scare us. We were forever making spook houses for our friends. Suspense is what kills me. I had a harder time watching Sleeping With the Enemy (I thought I was going to die when she opened those cabinet doors.) than I did watching Scream.

The ones that really get to me are the ones that mess with our head (Hitchcock style). I don’t love blood and gore, but I can handle most of it. Of course I grew up watching Jaws and Sasquatch so I had early conditioning for that! 🙂
