Date Night

Just got back from the date. You know, the real kind that involves dinner, walking, talking, and no naked bodies by the end of it. Because I hear that’s not what people normally do. What’s the rule? Third date?

I didn’t even go in for the kiss at the end of it.

I think it went well. She seems cool, funny, just quirky enough. We might be doing something later in the week. She’s off Tuesday, but that seems a little soon to me for a second date. Unless we went straight to sex. Uncontrollable hormones I understand. Late night phone calls, terse and to the point with the terms and conditions. No kissing, no holding hands, and no weird shit. Choking and spanking allowed. Okay, go!

So, if it went so well, then why am I back home alone with a bottle of Jack?

Something’s off, and I can’t quite place it. You just can’t force it. I guess we’ll see how this one goes.
