I love outside.

Josie left me 7 notes on 7 different entries within 20 minutes.  It totally made my day.

For reference, Josie, it is no longer snowing or raining.  It’s in the mid 70s like it should be, and it hasn’t snowed in a little over a week 😀

I made Nathan come down here to play with me this weekend, partially because he had to do laundry and partially because I felt like there’s more to do here in Point than there is in Wausau, and I’ve been getting really sick of sitting in his room and watching movies while eating pizza/take out.  It was absolutely GORGEOUS outside, so we walked through Schmeekle (the nature reserve on campus) and I got to play in Lake Joanis while he wished his dad a happy birthday.  I also sank just past my ankle in mud at one point and had to go wash my feet off again, but that’s what you get enjoying warm weather so soon after a snow fall.

We went to 2 different ice cream places over the weekend and watched a few movies and really just had a good time.  It supremely helped my mood after that whole "There’s a girl who likes you and won’t leave it alone and I can’t beat the living crap out of her cause she’s too nice of a person and your friend" debacle.
Not that that’s over and done with.  I’m still bothered by it, and she still likes him/talks to him more than I’m comfortable with, but Nathan’s being all good about it (as usual, totally ruining my opportunity to be mad at him) and I’m feeling a little better.

I work a lot this week.  Which is good cause, you know… I’m poor.

My grandma is doing fine.  I talked to my family  on Tuesday night and they had just come home from visiting her, and the surgery went really well and they’re pretty sure they got everything.  I’m still having difficulty actually talking to HER because my grandparents still have dial-up internet that makes the line busy every time they use it.  But I’m glad she’s doing well.

In other awesome news, I got my 2 new video games in the mail today!!  Katamari Damacy (acid without the harmful side effects!) and Shadow of the Colossus.  Both spectacular games well suited for a hardcore procrastinator the last few weeks of the semester 🙂

I’m actually off to play them until I have to go to work tonight 😀
