Bad English

There are certain words and phrases in the English language that as an intelligent and educated person I simply refuse to use.  Grammar aside, the following are words and statements that I will never say.  Forgive me for wanting to sound smart.  When you speak poorly, not only do you embarrass yourself but you also let the world know that you really aren’t very bright.  So without further adieu, let’s take a look at some of the dumber words and phrases that English has to offer.

*Using the word "like" as a filler or a link between others words or thoughts in a sentence.

Example: I just like wanted to like know like if you like would maybe like, like if you weren’t doing tomorrow, if like maybe you’d like to like go out with me?

*The inappropriate and terrible use of the word "so".

Example: I like so wanted to go to like her party and I was like so wanting to like be seen there, but I like so have like this really big headache.  And I’m like so not feeling like taking a Tylenol right now.  I like so want to paint my nails and like so take a bathe right now instead.

*Using "good" instead of the word "well".

Example:  I like really wanted to show up at work today but I didn’t do too good last night after I so got drunk.

Example: Since I like don’t care if I like go to college, I really don’t care if I like do good on the like SAT tomorrow.
