Biopsy

I had a pap smear about a month ago that came back abnormal.

Yesterday I went for a Colposcopy.  It’s where they crank you open, swab your cervix with some kind of solution and look through a microscope to see how the solution effects your cervix. 

Apparently my cervix didn’t react the way it should and I had to be biopsied.  They basically took a hole punch, asked me to cough, and punched a chunk of my cervix out of me.  Then to stop the bleeding they cauterized my cervix and burned off whatever remaining abnormal cells were left from the biopsy.

I was in so much pain yesterday I can’t even describe to you.

I just hope I don’t have cancer.

That would suck.
