It’s Funny…

Adam left for 4 days to Columbus, Ohio for a warhammer tournament and I was SOOO excited for him to be gone so I could have the bed all to myself and sprawl out and it’d be wonderful; but I haven’t slept in the bed once. I’ve slept on the couch the entire time. I just can’t get to sleep up there.

I was telling Jennifer and Lynn that at work (older ladies who have had or do have husbands) and they laughed and said that’s happened to them plenty of times and then Garrett (aka Useless Dumbass!) starts asking why. "Why wouldn’t you just sleep in the bed? Why would you sleep on the couch? WTF is wrong with you?"

That clearly, 100%, showed me the difference between people who are married (or living together) and people who are single (or in non-living together relationships).
Adam and I have not been apart in years. Since the day we met, we’ve been inseparable. Maybe we haven’t gone to sleep together at the same time before, but we’ve BEEN there. It’s hard to sleep in a bed all by yourself when you’ve been sleeping in that bed with someone else for years. This is the first time we’ve ever been separated for more time than a work shift.

Oh, I found this hilarious. One of my best friends, Dustin, and I were talking the other day and I said how I felt so old. Dustin’s 30, so he was like "YOU’RE old?! OH OKAY WHATEVER!" and I stopped him and said, "Hey now… I’m married. You’re single. Marriage makes me way fucking older than you!"
My boss overheard us and turns around, I thought he was gonna yell at me for swearing and he goes "She’s damn right!"
Cracked me up!

I’ve felt bad that I haven’t worked out in 2 days. I pulled my groin 2 days ago and haven’t been able to do anything. The only thing I could do was walk and that was barely! I couldn’t sit down, stand up, lean, go up or down the stairs, pick things up. Nothing. I need to at least do some crunches and ab work outs to keep up with myself but I definitely haven’t done anything in 2 days.

I also found out, that while counting my calories and keeping track with this app, that ON AVERAGE, I only eat around 700 calories a day. I thought I WAY overate yesterday, but after I calculated all those up, I was at like 726. If I felt like I overate, I can only imagine the days where I really bind down and don’t eat anything.
Which means… I’ve been basically starving myself for years. Which is probably ONE of the reasons I haven’t been losing weight. Even though I work a job where I’m running around, going up and down ladders, lifting 50+ pound boxes. I would have thought that activity would help in losing weight but I haven’t lost shit since I got the job.

It’s hard to try and force yourself to eat more when you already think you eat too much 🙁

I can’t fall asleep in an empty bed either without my hubby. I’ve already told him if he ever goes to 3rd shift the dog would be sleeping in bed with me. Of course Rocki would probably slobber anyone to death, she’s a loving dog. But I’ve never been able to sleep if no one is home. So I totally get what you mean.

My BF and I have been together for 7 months and I miss him terribly when he’s not here to sleep with me. It’s harder for me too. I usually fall asleep on the couch! Hope you feel better and can back to the workouts. I was in DC last week and swam a few laps, so it was good to bike 6 miles today. Keep it up!

It was fans going crazy after they lost. Not all fans but just a small group of immature assholes trying to cause trouble. Real fans wouldn’t do that. And yes. Yay for scrapbooking!! 🙂
