the tennessee trip was intense

there’s no stopping the expectations that build up before doing something new

kyle and i almost broke up but then ended up getting informally married by giving each other tattoos with india ink and one of my sewing needles

if you ever get the chance to go to pidgeon forge, TN, say no

it’s like disney world threw up on the town

other than that, though, the mountains and the woods were beautiful

gatlinburg was a little better

it was cold and we got really good wine and free moonshine tastings (lol, main attraction of the town), and went to opening night of the hobbit (which was excellent)

the best part of the trip was the jacuzzi tub in our room

we took the hottest baths like twice a day haha

now i am back at work and so broke from the trip and a little stressed about christmas presents

what i’ve made so far has been SO AWESOME though

i made my sister the greatest book yet.. it is a hardback ethiopian stitch with a spine, and i added a little slot for her to put a picture of her baby, since it’s going to be a kind of mother log book or something

i made two more books, one has an adventure time cover for anna grace

an apron for jess

fabric calendar for lani

and i still need to work on paintings for cathy and chloe

guh and something for my mom and dad…………… shit

i want to pass out and wake up in january
