Last week of freedom here
So this is my last week of freedom in New Orleans. First and last I should say, lol.
It was pretty enjoyable. I went to Preservation Hall and finally ate at Jacques-Imo’s. I got my hair cut at Mickey Nolan’s. I gave a lot of money to a homeless artist girl, which I normally don’t do but I felt so strongly about this one. I went to a friend’s house and watched the Big Bang Theory, and now I’m addicted, lol.
Last night I went to Nikki’s house. Then today we had lunch. I’ll miss her a lot!
My family is coming in Tuesday. Wednesday is the pre-commencement, just for us, where we recite the Hippocratic Oath and Thursday is commencement with the entire health sciences center. Thursday is going to take forever. It’s such a huge accomplishment, but the work has only begun.
Love,
Julie
