I found a website that you can go on and calculate how many calories you burn by doing normal things.  It was pretty helpful.  From the things I could think of (walking to and from class, sitting in class, showering, etc) I burn about 1505cals in 16 hours and 35 minutes.  I obviously burn more because I’m missing a few hours out of a day, but I really can’t think of other things I do, lol.  I mean, I hang out with friends, so I guess that would be considered sitting?  I don’t know.  I don’t need to know exactly how many I burn.  I just need to get an idea and stay clear from it.  So by eating 700cal I wasn’t really hurting myself.

I’ve eaten 160cal so far today.  I’m about to get ready for class, then go to the gym afterwards.  They redid our gym, so there’s all this new equipment with t.v.s and stuff.  It’s really nice.  It went from being a crappy gym with 3 elliptical machines, to about 20 ellipticals with t.v.s.  Makes me very happy.  I want to skip class and just go to the gym, but I really shouldn’t do that I guess.  Poop on classes.

I had to cut coffee out of my diet, even though I love it.   It was fucking with my central nervous system, which is already unbalanced, and I was getting anxiety attacks again.  I don’t want to go back on medicine for those.  The medicine makes me feel like…I don’t know.  It’s an anti-depressant so I feel like it shuts off some of my emotions.  Maybe I’m better that way because I can be pretty emotional, but I feel clearer when I’m not taking the medicine.  I’ve been off it for almost 2 months now.  Last time I tried going without it, I went running back to it, shaking and freaking out.  I don’t want to need medication to control me.  So, the point of that little story was that I’m not drinking coffee anymore.

I guess I should go shower, even though I’d rather take a nap.

Have you tried coffeine-free coffee? I don’t know how it tastes (might be bad), but maybe you can have it WITHOUT your nervous system getting unbalanced … xoxo

You should chech out http://www.fitday.com. When you go there, your 1st objective is to put in your stats, including the type of lifestyle you have. Then, it calculates from this alone how many calories you burn without added exercise. You can then punch in your activities to show how many more cals you are burning. In addition, you have a plethora of reports that you can view, such as…

…whether or not you are reaching the nutrients you need daily; what % of your cals are from carb, fat, protein; a line graph of your weekly weight loss; and MUCH MUCH more. Without exercise I burn 2299 calories (5’4, 130, when not exercising I do lots of seated work). I am sure that you burn more calories than you think! Hell, a toddler needs like 2000 cals to sustain life…
