Wesolych Swiat Bozego Narodzenia

  Wesolych Swiat Bozego Narodzenia  which means Merry Christmas in Polish, Mike is polish so I wanted to learn that 🙂

It’s been a busy week, working 9:30 til 5:30 and shopping after work each night, had to work 9-5 today too and had to stop at the pharmacy to finish up the stocking stuffers since the mall was closed by the time I got off work. I’m off the next two days, so I’m so relieved about that.

 We got our schedules for Feb with the new scheduling system and the shifts totally suck!! everyone at work is pissed off, all our schedules are messed up. I have been working for the last 9months tues to sat, 8-4 and 9-5 on saturdays, now I’m scheduled working both sat and sun, with tues wed off one week and wed, thurs off the next, has me with one day off and working 6 straight days a couple times a month because my days off fall on a different time of the week, and also working 10:30-10:45 start times even on the weekend. It’s like senority doesn’t matter.  So many people are upset, I even woke up in the middle of the night after thinking about it, one girl I work with said when she saw her schedule, she actually started crying. The managers are saying they are looking into it, but nothing will be done about it. It just pisses me off, I mean if they are going to schedule for weekends, then at least give me the early shifts on the weekends and during the week, don’t schedule me the same hours as someone with the same senority who got weekends off, that’s just not fair, For the last 9 months, I took a sat shift just so I can get early shifts during the week, it’s an even trade off, now with the new schedules, it just doesn’t matter.  Well I’m not gonna think about it, it just upsets me so much, grr!!

So this week after work and after shopping, I’ve been baking for a bakesale at work to raise money for kids at christmas. I baked mincemeat squares,, mmm they are so good!! Been cleaning the house, and visiting friends. I think next year I’m gonna book the week before christmas off, there is just too much to do!!  

I bought a new snow blower too, my other one was pooched, got a good one this year, spent $1000. now just need the snow, oh speaking of snow, finally got a little bit the other day, and it’s supposed to snow tomorrow morning, how awesome is that!!! I was getting depressed thinking it would be a green Christmas, Canadians can’t have a green Christmas!!

Anyways, need to finish up wrapping the presents, just wanted to update, Merry Christmas everyone 😀
