Triptych Abstract Art

I love Triptych abstract art, (three sections/panals of one painting), I wish I had the talent of some of these artists. My latest painting is a polyptych, which is 4 or more panels, mine is 4 and it’s a floral abstract. I used similar colours as my current livingroom walls, and I will post a pic of it after I have it hung on my wall.

I’m going to work on similar paintings as the one’s I’ve posted below. I figure, since it’s coming up to hibernation season, I will have plenty of time to work on my technique. Just to let you all in on a little secret, I never had any formal training in my artwork, it’s all self taught. Last time I had any training was in high school, other then the 4 week course I took recently on pencil portraits. I prefer abstract because I can paint what I feel and it doesn’t have to look a certain way, as long as it flows within the painting and colours are pleasing, it can pretty much look like anything.

I don’t plan on making a living on my artwork, I’ve seen struggling artists and that lifestyle isn’t for me. I’ll keep my 8-4 job, and work on things on the side and perhaps if I’m lucky, make some extra money here ‘n there. Like my web and graphic design, I do it because I enjoy it, and it’s satisfying when I do something awesome, and I love the compliments on my work haha

I really love the first and third ones! I am blessed to have a very talented daughter. I’ve framed a bunch of her work from school and people are always amazed when I tell them who the artist is. I, myself, and completely without talent. I guess it’s good that can heal people and grow things, though.

I’m unlike infinite ocean in that I have absolutely no talent of my own…I’ve killed every plant I’ve ever owned! You are exceptionally talented and I can’t wait to see your latest work!

Hellbound

i know there’s more passionate people for art and what they do, but for me, i really cannot come home and start drawing stuff. hell, sometimes i don’t do anything for months then i may come home to draw something for 10 mins before getting bored. even now, i drew some stuff, but not quite feeling it. ryn; i’m just gonna do basic courses for now. i don’t know for sure what i wanna do as aprime study.
