Random Updates

 Ozzy Ozzy what have you done to yourself, you’re all pudgy now, and that long hair, is just so not sexy, can you even keep up now?? I’m concerned now. Ok so I watched Survivor and Ozzy has changed, he isn’t the sexy thin athletic guy he was years ago, he is pudgy and I don’t know if he can keep up with some of the other players now, he used to be a champ at the challenges. I guess I’ll have to watch and see if he still has it physically. He does still seem to be the sweet caring guy tho, he talked to one of the players who was having a hard time and made her feel better, so hope he plays well, I’m still going to cheer him on and is going to be my pick in the survivor pool at work.

Yesterday at work was slow, and on Saturdays I have no one around me because they all have weekends off, so I’m usually sitting alone on saturdays and no one to chat with between calls, but my friend ‘Al’ came in and did overtime for 4 hours, so that was nice, we would chat a little, she invited me over to her place one Sunday, so I accepted, not sure which one yet tho. We had a massage therapist in and was going around giving back and shoulder massages while sitting at our desks, it’s free of course, so I jumped at the chance. I really needed it too, cuz the other night I must have twisted my neck while sleeping because when I woke up, it was so sore, couldn’t bend my head down at all. I received a very nice kudo from a client too, she wanted to speak to my supervisor so I connected her to her voicemail to leave a message, and of course I stayed on the line to listen to what she said, and Wow, it was really nice, she was saying that I did a very tremendous job and I was quick and efficient and I was the first rep she had that helped her and didn’t give her any grief, and she wanted my last name or have my supervisor relay a message to the president of the company saying what a great job I did for her, and just wanted the higher ups know this about me.. Awww that really made my day, I mean we get dipdunks all the time and it’s just really nice to know that there are people out there that really appreciate the hard work we do.

So today is my day off and was looking forward to sleeping in because I went to a party last night and was up late, so do you think I could sleep in, of course not, at 7am Copper, and Moose decided they wanted me to be awake, so they started playing on my bed and wanted to play with me and get petted. I got up and went to the bathroom then came back to bed, and tried to sleep a little longer, I managed til 9am but was not a solid sleep, because they kept bugging me.. It is nice tho that Moosey is back to her old self, she is playing a lot, either with toys or with the other animals or with us.  She isn’t meowing for her babies anymore, so I’m so happy for that, it just broke my heart to see her searching around the house crying out for them 🙁  ,, she seems very happy and playful all the time now :),, Nik is even playing with her more, chasing each other around the house,, and I mean playing, she isn’t in heat. I have an appt to get them both fixed so I hope they can wait that long, although it wouldn’t piss me off if she got pregnant again, I would even keep one of them this time, would be nice to have a decendant of Nik’s, he has been my favourite cat of all time.

so I got up and decided I needed to cut the lawn today, why does my backyard have to be so big?? it was a nice workout anyways and it’s such a nice day out, sunny and cool, like a nice fall day,  I think I may have a bonfire tonight, yea that sounds like a plan 🙂

I need to take J to Walmart later, they are having a sale on Tv’s and she wants a new one for her room, they have a 32" LCD HDTV for $228. so we will take a look at them to see if that is what she wants. It’s nice she is working and can afford to buy her own things. I’m gonna have her pay me rent tho, I’m thinking $200/month, but I will just put it aside and use it for her tuition next year,, yes she will be going to college next yr forsure, she is taking the required math class in Jan after the contract for her job is over.

It’s that time of year now that I’m thinking of Christmas presents, I need to start early because I never do, and I can never afford anything when I leave it for so long.  So starting next week, I’m going to buy some presents every pay day until I’m done. J already has a huge list, and they aren’t cheap things either, she wants a PS3-she already has a wii, but she wants a certain game that only ps3 plays. she wants all of Weeds seasons, all of Glamour girl seasons, she wants a new iphone since hers broke, I can pay the early device upgrade fee for her to get a new phone, which will be about $300, she can buy the phone itself, which I get a discount for.  Now for what I want, and it’s only two things, a Blu Ray player, one that plays DVD’s as well because of all the movies I have, and a Kindle, so that shouldn’t be hard to get for me, they aren’t all that expensive.  On Tuesday I’m going to buy my first bluray movie, The Bridemaids, it comes with a dvd also, so I can still watch it, I heard that was a hilarious movie 🙂  I have no idea what to get Mike as he just buys what he wants all the time, other then the portrait I’m drawing for him, I have no idea what to get him.  I have a couple of months to find that out I guess 😉
