ADD/ADHD

I found myself looking through the circles here on OD and was very disappointed not to find one that dealt with ADD or ADHD. There’s not even one where ADD/ADHD would realistically fit.  It definitely helps me to talk with others dealing with it as well.  ADD is definitely one of those conditions/things where if you don’t have it, you really can’t speak about it.  For one thing, it’s hard to describe to anyone who doesn’t have it (or who doesn’t have a Ph.D or MD and has studied it) because when you do, they look at you with this blank look.  The way of processing things and dealing with issues is so different when you have ADD or ADHD.  I myself have ADD – inattentive type.  The people who love me and know about the diagnoses WANT to understand, but I know they don’t.  It helps that they want to, however.
