Fun, Sun and a Shovel
The snow is still on the ground. The miata is still stuck, waiting for the yard to thaw further…
So I’m driving le femme’s car, since it works in the snow.
And i shoveled the yard, so, at parts, the ground shows through. back and forth, up and down, I tossed the snow as far as I could.
Otherwise, I sat in my house, in my pajamas’ recovering from the infinite soreness of my muscles…
Time really is catching up with me. I decided to try something new (why not) so I started taking yoga.
Yes. Yoga.
(which pretty much makes me the ONLY guy that takes it…at least at the classes here in town)
But man, after this weekend, I am sore. sore. sore.
I remember the days of sports and adventure…of highschool soccer games followed by marching band followed by an evening out with my friends…
And now, a few hours of yoga and my flesh barely wants to move at all.
Ah, time, as it passes, the more and more I realize that I’m fighting a losing battle.
This form will decay, no matter what. All my smiles, and joys and fun times with friends.
No matter how great life it is…..
Can’t win that one.
And speaking of life, its been going well. My two dogs are awesome, Ashli (the girl) is great, and the job is finally working out (i’ve been promoted yet again this year, and it gave me a pretty big raise!)
I’ve been gaming alot lately, but its starting to lose its luster. I think my gaming days are starting to fall away….at least for a while.
We shall see. We shall see.
I’m trying to write more here. I don’t know what happened. If i had to guess, I’d say that the drama of my twenties have gone, and the thoughts and frivolities simply don’t intrigue like they used too.
Cheers,
E.
