A Joyous Holiday, this Season so Far….

The fall semester has almost come to a close.
A stack of papers rests on my desk, yearning to be graded.

The last day of class was this past wednesday; in celebration, I went out with my students to a local bar.
It also was one of my students 21st birthday.

Jed’s brewhouse was the place; a flashback to my college days at PSU, 40+ students crammed into a little bar, 5 dollar pitchers, smiles to go around….
It was so much fun.
I had my picture taken with my students, and when I left, (around 1am) it was to the bar chanting "We love you Mr. E." It was so totally awesome I cannot express. I truly am glad I get to teach one college class like I had dreamed. Its been everything I expected.

The following day, in court, was exciting in its own right.

It was a typical day at court. There I was, all dressed in my pinstripe suit, pink and purple tie…hair blowing in the wind (well..not exactly)…

Anyway, there I was. Court had just ended, I was walking out of the courtroom.
This lady come up to me and introduces herself. He points to her daughter, who is like 18 years old. She smiles and says "Mr. E, my daughter thinks you are the cutest guy ever, and she would like to have her picture taken with you. She’s too embarrassed to ask however, but since i’m her mom I decided to ask." (as she was turning all red)

Of course…I said.

And i put my arm around her and "snap" went the camera.

The Prosecutor and the Judge witnesses the entire spectacle, and afterwards laughed and said "Whats this E, you have groupies?"

I laughed and laughed and laughed.

Apparently I do have groupies.

A lawyer with groupies.

Still makes me smile.

Oodles o’ love,
Erotique

RYN: Right, I knew you needed a Masters. See, I’m an English major. So, in order to teach English in college, do I need a Masters in English? I really don’t want to put myself through that!! I was thinking about going to graduate school for Education Leadership.
