The Splurge

Perhaps because this is the week where i finally received a decent paycheck, or perhaps i was just itching to made a fancified, "i deserve you so" purchase, or perhaps for some other reason of which i could never even fathom, i went a bit "out" and purchased an awesome (and i do mean awesome new cell phone) After all the rebates, specials etc which i had from my cell phone plan saved up, it ended up making the phone cost me 80 bucks. (i had 150 total off on the price), which while "out of pocket" isn’t all that bad, i did go well beyond my plan of getting a free phone.

But then i saw it, and i had to have it.I bought a LG VX8700. (i’m too lazy to link a picture now) but perhaps in the near future. Either way, its sleek and devilishly handsome in its silver color, and as a result, i just couldn’t resist. (i mean, come on…silver.)

Its nice to splurge every once in and while. And hell, it could have been alot worse. I could have bought a PS3. (and there is my weak attempt at rationalization)

Time for a little snack, then a bit more packing to do, then a return to hannibal, and criminal law de jour.
